Welcome to Tanda of the Week - The Exclusive Tango Music Blog! We have moved service providers for the TOTW blog and are trying to get comfortable in our new home at Ghost.io. Here are just a few quick things to consider before we continue!

What has changed for tandaoftheweek.com?

  1. We moved from Wix.com to Ghost.io. Wix is an Israel based company and with the current situation in Palestine we can no longer use their services in good conscience . Ghost is an UK-based non-profit organisation.
  2. Good bye Spotify! - Unfortunately TOTW will no longer share tandas on Spotify due to their shady business model. Instead the posts will give links for each song for YouTube (yeah not ideal either), Tidal, Deezer and TangoTunes.
  3. Subsciptions and your support - There will be more of an effort to share higher quality content available to subscribers and members who support the blog. Read more below!

EVERYBODY scrolling the site without a subscription will have access to at least one new FREE tanda per month and most free tandas from before.

FREE MEMBER - Simply subscribing is free of charge and all subscribers will have access 50% of the blog's tandas. Control your email notification settings easily on your account.

SUPPORTER MEMBER - Just 5$ a month (or 30€ a year) gives you access to ALL the tandas and other content.

What will the future bring for TOTW?

  1. Truly weekly updates to the blog - Yes! There are scheduled new tandas for many weeks ahead. Come Christmas or Chinese New Year, there's always a new tanda published every Monday!
  2. Educational content - Want to learn more about DJing tango music? Future brings short seminars in text and video format.
  3. Guest DJ tandas - Right now I want to focus on getting the new blog platform running and will focus on sharing just my (DJ Antti Suniala) tandas. But Guest DJ tandas will be back hopefully soon!
  4. More features - The current TOTW hosting plan on Ghost is very basic. With your support we can upgrade to a higher tear of a plan with more features available - like multiple tags per post and more options to edit the visuals of the site.

So you found TOTW? What can you do now?

  1. Subscribe! - It's free and all subscribers get access to 50% of all the tandas.
  2. Enjoy the blog! - There are already almost 35 tandas available.
  3. Search music by orchestra or style of music - tango, vals or milonga.
  4. Tell your friends - TOTW will be even less active on Social Media platforms so your help in spreading the word is greatly appreciated!
  5. Support the blog - Your support is appreciated and needed! Consider subscribing as a support member or donate!
