Ricardo Tanturi

Ricardo Tanturi (1905–1973) was an Argentine pianist, composer, and orchestra leader known for his rhythmic, elegant, and highly danceable tango style. His orchestra, active from the 1930s to the 1950s, became famous for its balance of melody and rhythm. With singers like Alberto Castillo and Enrique Campos, he recorded classics such as La vida es corta and Una emoción. Tanturi’s refined yet lively approach made his music a favorite among dancers and a staple in tango history.
