Domingo Federico

Domingo Federico (1916–2000) was an Argentine bandoneón player, composer, and orchestra leader known for his dynamic and rhythmic tango style. Originally a musician in Aníbal Troilo’s orchestra, he later formed his own ensemble, blending traditional tango with innovative phrasing and strong instrumental interplay. As a composer, he created classics like Yuyo verde and Percal, often collaborating with lyricist Homero Expósito. His contributions helped shape the evolution of tango music.
